Everywhere in the world, the Netherlands is well known of its famous windmills, tulips and Dutch cheeses. The Keukenhof is the place to see spring blossom. The park is unique, world famous, and has been one of the most popular destinations in the Netherlands for sixty years now. Haven’t seen Keukenhof? Then you haven’t seen the Netherlands. You won’t find such an abundance of colours and fragrances anywhere else. More than seven million flowers form a glorious decor for the most beautiful photos. Come to Keukenhof and enjoy the ultimate spring feeling, the wonderful works of art, the surprising insipration gardens and the many flower shows.
After visiting the Keukenhof the tour will continue and take you to the Zaanse Schans and Volendam! Together they represent the typical Dutch culture. At the Zaanse Schans you will see the traditional Dutch houses with the old windmills. You even have the chance to visit one windmill. Curious about how the real Dutch cheese is made? Find out all about it in the cheese factory. At the Zaanse Schans you also have the chance to visit a wooden shoe factory.
After the Zaanse Schans we will go to Volendam, an old fisherman’s town. In Volendam we will taste a typical Dutch herring at a stand on the street.
